The third and last coin within Peaky Blinders series presents Polly Gray, who is recognized in TV series as Aunt Polly. She was the aunt of the two main characters, Thomas and Arthur, that were presented on previous coins in the series. When Shelby brothers were fighting during WWI, Polly managed the Peaky Blinders business. When they came back she served as certified accountant and company treasurer of Shelby Company Limited.
On the coin’s reverse we can see Aunt Polly, dressed in an elegant hat and suit, holding a revolver. In the background, we can also see Polly Gray from a different perspective, dressed in a men’s suit, black sunglasses, and leather gloves, leaning relaxed against a car and waiting for events to unfold.
Towards the top of the coin, an inscription captures Peaky Blinders key quote and in the lower section, Polly’s name is etched onto a razor blade. Both elements bear a luxurious gold-plated finish.
On the coin’s obverse, set against the urban backdrop of a working-class neighbourhood in Birmingham, three pivotal characters come into view: Thomas, his brother Arthur, and aunt Polly.
The coin has Antique Finish, Ultra High Relief, Gold Plating, Black Proof and Micro Laser Engraving.
It comes in a box along with the certificate of authenticity.
