We are pleased to present the 2oz version of the latest coin in the “Stanislaw Lem – Master of Science Fiction” series.

Stanisław Lem was a Polish writer of the hard science-fiction genre, philosopher and futurologist. He was born on 12 September 1921 in Lviv and died on 27 March 2006 in Krakow. His works dealt with such topics as the development of science and technology, human nature, the possibility of communication between intelligent beings and the place of man in the Universe.

The reverse of the coin features a captivating scene inspired by Fables for Robots, one of the most celebrated works of Stanisław Lem. The design depicts a fantastic robotic city populated by monumental mechanical structures, vigilant towers, stylized hands, and mysterious all-seeing eyes, creating an atmosphere that is both futuristic and allegorical. At the center rises an imposing crowned robotic figure overlooking a geometric cityscape, while the intense red background amplifies the dramatic visual impact.

The coin has High Relief, fluorescent printing, metallic UV printing, selective gold plating, and selective proof finish.
It comes in a box with a Certificate of Authenticity.
